What I bring to the table:

I feel passionately about psychological assessment and I take the time to ensure you or your child is understood and all of your questions are answered. Through all of my testing, I’m looking for strengths, thus I feel just as confident working with a child struggling in a school environment, as I do with people who are more generally looking for missing pieces to a puzzle. My keyword is collaboration and I will do everything possible to make sure the information I provide you with is clear, digestible, and actively useful.  My philosophy for educational assessments is to modify/change the environment rather than the student. Thus, I have made it a priority to tour and get to know public and independent schools in the extended Denver area. Through our work together, I am able to use the information we gathered to explore what school options would best play to your child’s unique blend of strengths. These consultation services are included in the assessment package. I am more than happy to attend school tours or accommodation meetings with my clients and I do not believe my work stops when you receive the report.

For the reasons above, it is not uncommon for my role to transition to parent coach or family therapist after testing is wrapped, as I will have a thorough and unique understanding of your child and the family system. Through the assessment, we will have a foundation and goals established and can jump right into the work of improving daily functioning and the overall health of the family.

Why Marigold? In Latinx culture marigolds represent guides for lost souls, a beautiful metaphor for therapy!
